We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information when you use Chef Kitchen (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains what data may be collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding ads, notifications, and privacy.

We do not request your name or email directly in the App. However, third-party providers may collect certain data automatically:

  • Device & usage data: device type, operating system, app version, language, session time.

  • Advertising identifiers: e.g., IDFA (if you consent via ATT) or other identifiers used for ads and performance measurement.

  • Consent data: ATT tracking authorization status, GDPR/EEA consent status via Google UMP.

  • Notification data: permission status for notifications, push tokens (via Apple/OneSignal).

  • To operate app features (ads, notifications, save progress).

  • To measure performance, fix bugs, and improve user experience.

  • To display ads (personalized or non-personalized, based on your consent).

4) Ads (AdMob), ATT & GDPR (UMP)

  • We use Google AdMob for ads.

  • On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT):

    • If you allow, you may see personalized ads.

    • If you deny, only non-personalized ads are shown (using npa=1).

  • In the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, we use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request GDPR consent:

    • If required, a consent form will be displayed.

    • Based on your choice, we load personalized or non-personalized ads.

5) Notifications & OneSignal

  • We request your permission through iOS before sending notifications.

  • We use OneSignal to manage push notifications. OneSignal may collect technical data (device type, region, language, push token).

  • You can disable notifications anytime via your device Settings → Notifications → Chef Kitchen or in-app settings (if available).

6) Data Sharing with Third Parties

We only share data with service providers necessary for functionality:

  • Google (AdMob, UMP): ads and consent management.

  • Apple: notifications & system services.

  • OneSignal: push notifications.
    We do not sell your personal data.

7) Data Retention & Security

  • We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.

  • We use reasonable security measures, but no electronic storage is 100% secure.

8) Your Rights & Choices

  • ATT Consent: change in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

  • Ad personalization: in the EEA/UK, you can manage consent through Google UMP.

  • Notifications: disable in system settings or app settings.

  • Access/Deletion: email us at newmemomedo2018@gmail.com to request access or deletion of your data (as applicable by law).

9) Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience. If you believe we collected data from a child unlawfully, contact us and we will take action.

10) Regional Privacy

  • EU/UK GDPR: Consent requests are managed via Google UMP.

  • California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not “sell” user data as defined by law. Contact us to exercise your rights.

We may update this Policy. Updates will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above, and major changes may be announced in-app.
